Welcome to the Ur-Nammu Publishing platform. By registering for a publisher account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform.

1. Definitions

  • “Platform” means the publisher portal and administrative interface operated by Ur-Nammu Publishing Ltd at books.ur-nammu.com.

  • “Publisher” means any individual or organisation registered to use the Platform.

  • “Title” means a book, manuscript, or other publication content submitted by a Publisher.

  • “Metadata” means information relating to a Title, including ISBN, page count, paper type, trim size, genre, and language.

2. Publisher Accounts

2.1 You must provide accurate and complete registration information, including your full name, email address, organisation name (if applicable), address, country of operation, and relevant tax number.

2.2 All Publisher accounts are subject to administrative approval. Access to the Platform will not be granted until approval is given.

2.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted through your account.

2.4 Publishers may close their account at any time by contacting admin@ur-nammu.com.

3. Publisher Obligations

3.1 You warrant that all Titles and Metadata you submit:

  • Are your original work or are properly licensed for publication

  • Are accurate and not misleading

  • Do not infringe any third party intellectual property or other rights

  • Are not defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful

3.2 You warrant that you own or hold a valid licence for all images, illustrations, fonts, graphs, and other third-party content included in your publication.

3.3 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ur-Nammu Publishing Ltd against any claims, losses, liabilities, or damages arising from a breach of these warranties.

4. Manuscript Responsibility

4.1 The Publisher is solely responsible for the accuracy, spelling, grammar, and quality of all manuscripts submitted. The Company does not proofread or edit manuscripts.

4.2 Only print-ready PDF files are accepted. Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx) and other editable document formats will be rejected.

4.3 All fonts used in the document must be embedded in the PDF file. Fonts that are not embedded may be rejected or may print incorrectly.

4.4 The Publisher is solely responsible for ensuring that all characters, symbols, and diacritical marks (including Arabic diacritics) appear correctly in the printed book.

4.5 The Company is not responsible for missing or incorrectly displayed characters, font substitution, or any printing errors caused by incorrect file preparation.

5. Content Guidelines

The following content is prohibited on the Platform:

  • Defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory material

  • Content that infringes copyright or trademarks

  • Material promoting violence, illegal activity, or hate speech

  • False or misleading Metadata

The Company reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove any Title that violates these guidelines.

6. Suspension and Termination

6.1 The Company may suspend or terminate a Publisher account at any time if these Terms are breached.

6.2 Upon termination, access to the Platform will be withdrawn.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Publishers retain full copyright and ownership of their Titles and Metadata.

7.2 By submitting content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive license to store, display, and process your Titles and Metadata solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 The Platform is provided “as is”. The Company makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Terms

The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
